KBP INT and MILKOR Expand Cooperation in UAV Systems and Defence Technologies

Prague, 22 October 2026 – Czech company KBP INTERNATIONAL and South African defence manufacturer MILKOR signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today at Future Forces Forum 2026 in Prague, marking a new step in their existing cooperation. The agreement focuses on joint sales efforts for the Milkor 380 unmanned aerial system in the Czech Republic and opens up opportunities for cooperation in manufacturing, development and other defence technologies.
The MoU builds on the companies' existing business relationship, under which KBP INTERNATIONAL supports MILKOR's business development activities in the Czech market. The new agreement sets out a coordinated approach to identifying sales opportunities and engaging with potential customers in the Czech Republic.
Opportunities for Manufacturing and Technology Cooperation in Europe
A key part of the MoU is the intention to explore opportunities to involve Czech manufacturing facilities in future MILKOR projects. The two companies will discuss potential cooperation in the manufacturing, assembly and local production of selected systems in the Czech Republic.
The MoU also opens discussions on the possibility of establishing or expanding MILKOR's operational, commercial or industrial presence in the European Union in cooperation with the KBP group. The aim is to strengthen manufacturing capacity, improve customer support and support the delivery of future projects in the European market.
"Our cooperation with MILKOR has the potential to go beyond sales representation. We want to combine the experience of an international UAV manufacturer with our own development and manufacturing capabilities. We believe this can create new opportunities for both companies in the Czech Republic and across Europe," says Katerina Fisova, CEO of KBP INTERNATIONAL.
Cooperation on Other UAV Platforms
Beyond the Milkor 380, the MoU also covers opportunities for broader technical cooperation. One potential area is MILKOR's involvement in the development, integration or support of avionics systems for the KBP group's smaller UAV platforms.
The companies will also explore other business and technical opportunities, including possible cooperation on amphibious tracked vehicles.
